Both V69 and V92 can be used for marine upholstery as they are both resistant to the harsh marine environment. V92 threads, unlike V69, can be used to make marine lift slings and marine tie downs as they are thicker. Both types of threads can be used in making decorative stitching on fabric.

Pro tip: Use solution dyed threads outdoors to avoid color fading. You could also use UV treated polyester threads for better results.


V69 threads can be used with most domestic sewing machines along with industrial ones, while V92 threads usually require large industrial sewing machines.
